These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of bookkeeping services by Safe Choice Bookkeeping ("we," "us," or "our") to you ("Client" or "you"). By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
 

1. Services Provided

We offer bookkeeping services, which may include:

  • Accounts payable and receivable management

  • Bank and credit card reconciliations

  • Payroll processing

  • Financial reporting
     

The specific services to be provided will be outlined in a separate engagement letter or agreement.
 

2. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide all necessary and accurate information in a timely manner

  • Ensure that all financial records and documents supplied are complete and accurate

  • Notify us promptly of any changes to your financial situation or business operations that may affect the services provided
     

3. Fees and Payment

Our fees for services will be detailed in the engagement letter or agreement. Payment terms are as follows:

  • Invoices are issued weekly and are payable within 7 days of the invoice date

  • Late payments may incur interest charges at a rate of 5% per annum

  • We reserve the right to suspend services for accounts that are more than 30 days overdue
     

4. Confidentiality

We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of your information. All data and information provided to us will be kept confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
 

5. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the provision of our services. You acknowledge that the accuracy of financial information provided is your responsibility, and we are not liable for errors resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by you.
 

6. Termination

Either party may terminate the engagement by providing [insert number] days' written notice. Upon termination, you agree to pay for all services rendered up to the termination date.
 

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
 

8. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you in writing and will take effect from the date specified in the notice.
